The Kiwanis Club of the Main Line is delighted to offer two (2) $2,500 academic scholarships during the 2024 calendar year to students who demonstrate servant leadership in their school and community that align with the Kiwanis’s commitment to community service.
Scholarship Value: $2500 each for two (2) students at participating high schools
Scholarships will be awarded to students who have demonstrated leadership in service or volunteering. All applicants must meet the scholarship criteria and complete all application requirements to be considered for a 2025 Kiwanis Service Scholarship.
Scholarship Criteria
Must be a student at a participating school: Harriton, Lower Merion, Haverford, or Radnor High Schools, or a private high school within the Main Line area.
Grade Level: Senior at a participating school.
Completed at least 100 hours of community service or volunteering hours between January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
Academic Grade Minimum: B average
Application Requirements
Submit One Page Essay: submit an essay describing your volunteering and/or servant leadership experience(s) that has made the most impact on you and your school/community. Describe the service provided, how it impacted your school or community, why it is meaningful to you, and how you have inspired others. The essay length is approximately one page in length typed.
Letter of Recommendation: obtain at least ONE (1) letter of recommendation(s) from individual(s) verifying your activities and community service.
Ensure Academic GPA is verified by school official through signature. Note: Electronic Signature is acceptable.

When available, we ask that the applicant complete the Kiwanis of the Main Line Service Scholarship Application Form and follow the instructions for submitting all required application materials. NOTE: APPLICATION TO BE AVAILABLE BY NOV 2024.
